First lite vs kuiu clothing
WebFeb 26, 2015 · First lite is what I switched to last year. They have a lot more camo patterns. And great customer service. Kuiu also makes great clothing. Under armour is about 8th place for clothing in my book. Don't listen to Cameron Hanes for gear lists. First lite come longer than kuiu so it fits the taller crowd pretty good. WebApr 2, 2024 · I use first lite merino base layers (I wear their merino boxers year round, every single day). I have mainly Sitka gear for outerwear as I found the prices better for me. The Kuiu attack pants are money, but mine wore out faster than my prana pants. The kuiu tent I have is awesome though. A lot of the Kuiu vs Sitka is marketing.

WebApr 21, 2015 · The one thing you will need to be mindful of is sizing differences. KUIU is slim/athletic fit, First Lite is a little more relaxed. KUIU's XL's/38 pants fit me well in the fall when I have trained a little bit and slimmed down a tough....in the spring with my "winter coat" is a different story. WebFeb 26, 2024 · Kuiu is lighter and my opinion better performing clothing. I mostly run Kuiu This. Sitka is just a little heavier, and although I’m not an ounce counter, it does make a difference. I have full systems from both brands.

You can find some very reasonable deals on used clothing ("wore once around the house, etc") and see what fits you the best and go from there. You probably won't be buying anymore scent lock clothing if you do.

I own some kuiu solids and one merino ls crew and they're exceptionally light and warm. Camo patterns arnt the best for cervids with both having grey in them.
