WebMay 29, 2024 · Actress Patricia Brake, known for her role in Porridge, which aired from 1974-1977, has died after a 'very long' battle with cancer. Patricia's family have confirmed that the star has passed away following her impressive 60-year long career. Brake married actor Robert McBain in 1966. She adopted his son from a previous marriage and they had two further children, they divorced in 1978. She married Michael Kennedy in 1997, gaining two stepchildren; he died in 2011. Brake died from cancer on 28 May 2024, one month before her 80th birthday.
